Author : Prof. (Dr.) Shweta Gupta,Shashi Goel
Abstract :
Logistics is one of the most significant segments that boosts economic growth, grows exports through global supply chains, and creates employment. An analysis of the financial performance of the Indian logistics sector through Principal component analysis is very important. This research discusses the use of limited and most important financial ratios that can be best in analysing the performance with little loss of information for saving efforts and time of the analysers. A total of 43 ratios grouped in four categories were calculated using the Prowess IQ database for seven companies for a period of 9 years from 2014-15 to 2022-23. Comprehensive score of financial performance through Principal component analysis (PCA) was calculated for ranking the companies using SPSS and MS Excel.

Name : A Study of Effects of Team Resilience on Leadership Support and Job Performance: A Structural Equation Modeling Validation Using the Public Sector as an Example
Author : Hong-Cheng Liu
Abstract :
This study examines how team resilience in the public sector shapes leadership support and work performance under conditions of high governance uncertainty. Drawing on employees and supervisors from public agencies in northern, central, and southern Taiwan, we used convenience and snowball sampling to obtain 263 valid responses. Reliability and validity were assessed through exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, with all three scales meeting recommended thresholds. Structural equation modeling was then employed to test the hypotheses. The results show that team resilience has a significant positive effect on both leadership support and work performance; leadership support also positively predicts performance. These findings suggest that simultaneously strengthening team resilience and supportive leadership can operate as dual engines for performance gains. Model fit indices indicated good fit. Further decomposing resilience into physical energy, emotional support, and cognitive flexibility revealed that cognitive flexibility exerted the strongest direct effect on both in-role and extra-role performance. Within leadership support, instrumental support had a larger impact on in-role performance, whereas emotional support more strongly influenced extra-role performance. The study contributes an integrated model linking employee resilience, supervisory support, and performance in public contexts, adding evidence on the interplay between psychological capital and supportive leadership. It also advocates embedding resilience diagnostics, resource allocation, and coaching-/empathy-based leadership development into human capital strategies to enhance service continuity and innovation during crises and organizational change.

Name : Market Performance Catalysts for Cooperative Enterprises in Hawassa City, Ethiopia
Author : Desalew Demissie,Jayprakash Lamoria,Ermias Tegegn
Abstract :
The performance of cooperative enterprises is crucial for Ethiopia’s socio-economic development, as they empower its members to self-reliance and promote inclusive growth. However, cooperatives face systemic challenges that greatly reduce their competitiveness in increasingly complex markets, collectively hindering their ability to scale operations and meet evolving market demands. Therefore, this study aims to identify the main factors influencing the market performance of multi-purpose cooperative members in Hawassa City. Using an explanatory research design with a quantitative approach, the primary data collected through questionnaires were analyzed through SPSS software. The cooperative members were selected using a stratified random sampling technique. The analysis utilized statistical tools such as mean, standard deviation, correlation, and multiple linear regression. Results show that multi-purpose cooperatives in Hawassa City have moderate market performance. Respondents expressed neutral views about market information, pricing, and product quality, while disagreeing about the adequacy of credit services. Additionally, the correlation analysis indicated strong positive relationships between market performance and key factors: market information, pricing, product quality, infrastructure, and credit services. Furthermore, the regression analysis quantified these effects, revealing that market information, credit service utilization, product quality, pricing, and infrastructure facility are influential drivers, jointly explaining 61% of the variation. This study recommends improving market intelligence systems for data-driven decision-making, upgrading physical and digital infrastructure to facilitate operations and market access, and expanding affordable credit services to strengthen financial capacity.

Name : Impact of Geopolitical Tensions on FDI Inflows in Asia-Pacific: A Machine Learning Approach to Risk Forecasting
Author : Ashurova Gulru,Nurullayeva Nodira,Matkarimova Ashurxon,Eshmanova Nadira,Matyakubov Maqsad
Abstract :
This study leverages machine learning techniques to examine how geopolitical tensions influence foreign direct investment (FDI) flows across 20 Asia-Pacific economies from 2010 to 2024. The analysis identifies institutional stability as the primary determinant of FDI attraction (significance coefficient: 0.42), highlighting the central role of sound governance and policy consistency. Geopolitical risk emerges as the second most significant factor (0.28), displaying a nonlinear relationship with FDI: as risk increases from medium (0.40) to high (0.60), annual FDI declines by approximately $5.2 billion, while at very high risk levels (0.80), the reduction reaches 26.7%. The optimized random forest model (R² = 0.87) demonstrates the effectiveness of machine learning in capturing the complexity of these dynamics. Notably, substantial differences in FDI inflows between countries exposed to similar risk levels—such as Singapore’s robust $65.32 billion compared to Myanmar’s $12.45 billion—underscore the moderating effect of domestic institutions. The observed $7.7 billion drop in FDI during the 2020–2024 period, relative to the 2015–2019 peak, further suggests heightened investor sensitivity to volatility. The findings indicate that policymakers should prioritize institutional strengthening and develop mechanisms to mitigate geopolitical risk in order to sustain regional investment attractiveness.

Name : Assessment of Transformational Processes in Regional Development
Author : Martha Derhaliuk,Olena Arefieva,Victoria Bilyk,Olena Kostiunik,Tetiana Shchepina
Abstract :
In the current conditions of socio-economic instability of the development of economic systems at all levels, global challenges, growing interregional disparities and intensification of the processes of restoration of territories that have undergone significant transformational impacts due to various reasons, there is a need for in-depth analysis and assessment of transformational processes of regional development. This and other factors determine the need to develop methodology to assessing transformational processes that allow taking into account the specifics of each region, its resource potential, level of vulnerability and adaptive capabilities. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the methodological approach to assessing transformational processes of regional development, which involves determining the transformational impact on the development of regions through the complex transformation value according to its structure using a value that is numerically equal to the area of the figure and partial correction coefficients of transformation of regional development.

Name : UPI as A Catalyst for Financial Inclusion: Unpacking the Impact Beyond Adoption – Access, Usage Nuances, Welfare Effects, and Persistent Barriers in Underserved Segments
Author : Aditya Kumar Singh,Aumkar Prasad
Abstract :
Examining UPI's impact on access, usage patterns, economic well-being, and persistent impediments, this study seeks to advance financial inclusion among India's underprivileged groups. The links between UPI access, usage frequency, digital literacy, and financial inclusion outcomes were assessed using structural equation modelling. The data was evaluated using a quantitative cross-sectional survey that included 384 respondents from rural and low-income communities. A substantial correlation between regular UPI use and enhanced economic well-being (standardized estimate = 0.744, p < 0.001) and a notable beneficial impact of UPI access on financial inclusion (standardized estimate = 0.753, p < 0.001) are shown by the results. Although digital literacy and security though they didn't directly affect UPI adoption too much, concerns are still crucial contextual hurdles to consider. According to these results, UPI can help bring about digital equality by decreasing reliance on cash, increasing financial empowerment, and bolstering long-term economic growth. In order to achieve substantial acceptance of digital payment systems, the report stresses the need of focused governmental measures that include digital education, improved security infrastructure, and endeavours to overcome socio-psychological obstacles. Contributing to efforts for encouraging equitable financial growth in emerging nations and addressing technical access barriers, this research offers empirical information on the multifaceted consequences of UPI beyond mere adoption.
